The Church which was constructed at the place where Fr. Paulose (Kadamattathu Kathanar) was born and brought up, is known as Poyedam Church. The Church is located 150 meters away from the main church in north east direction and Poyedam Kinar( the well) is also situated close to the Poyedam Church.
മാർ ആബോ പിതവിൻറെ ശിഷ്യനായി തീർന്ന കടമറ്റത്ത് കത്തനാർ എന്നറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന പൗലോസ് അച്ചൻ ജനിച്ചു വളർന്ന വീട് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്തിരുന്നിടത്ത് പിന്നീട് പണികഴിപ്പിച്ച പള്ളിയാണ് പോയേടം പള്ളി. വലിയ പളളിയിൽ നിന്ന് 150 മീറ്റർ ദൂരെ മാറി വടക്ക് കിഴക്ക് ദിശയിലാണ് പോയേടം പള്ളി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. പോയേടം പള്ളിയോട് ചേർന്ന് വടക്കു ഭാഗത്തായി പോയേടം കിണറും സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു.
